Even half a year after it came out, Shae Gill and Ali Sethi’s song is still very popular. It has been used in Hollywood movies, by international dance teams, and by stars from other countries.
The song from Coke Studio 14 that went viral has been watched 300 million times on YouTube, and that number keeps going up.
Ali Sethi and Fazal Abbas wrote the lyrics to “Pasoori,” and Sethi and Zulfiqar J. Khan, also known as “Xulfi,” wrote the music.
It was the sixth song to come out of Coke Studio’s 14th season. It came out in February of this year.
Ali Sethi posted a video called “300 million” that was a collection of behind-the-scenes clips from the original music video. He did this to celebrate the video getting 300 million views.
When the Coke Studio single came out, the song was an instant hit, and it stayed at the top of the charts for more than six months.
