At the Lux Style Awards 2022, Ahmed Ali Akbar won the award for best actor.
The Lux Style Awards are given out to recognize Pakistan’s entertainment industry’s successes. People think that the Lux Style Honors are the most real Pakistani awards because they are all about art and culture and support Pakistani fashion, film, and TV.
Every year, new projects come out. Some of them become big hits, while others are forgotten. Our drama industry has become stagnant in terms of screenplay development and interesting stories, and we are tired of seeing the same rich heroes, fighting sisters, and evil mothers and mothers-in-law over and over again. But after Ahmed Ali Akbar played The Parizaad in a play based on Hashim Nadeem’s The Parizaad, the rest, as they say, is history.
Ahmed Ali Akbar played the full role of Parizaad on TV. He also talked about the appeal of original stories. The idea that only Saas-Bahu sagas are good was also put to rest. Since the end of the drama, he has been nominated in all categories. In 2022, he won the Critics’ Award for Best Male Actor at the Lux Style Awards. This was a big win after his big win at the Hum Awards.
Ahmed then gave a very moving speech in which he said that his award was for all the Parizaads who work hard but don’t get any credit.
