A few minutes ago, the actress turned to her Instagram page and released a handful of photographs from the portrait session at the 75th annual Cannes Film Festival. On the third day of the big event, Deepika was seen wearing a red Louis Vuitton dress.

After taking the internet by storm with her Bengal tiger-inspired Sabyasachi saree and then conquering power dressing in a black pantsuit, Deepika has once again left everyone in awe with her flaming red Louis Vuitton gown with a plunging neckline. For accessories, the actress took the basic approach as she donned a spectacular diamond neckpiece alone. Her hair was done in a sloppy high ponytail. Her makeup looked beautiful and was further boosted by the strong red lip color that she chose.

She was also spotted standing with Jury President Vincent Lindon on the red carpet, as they attended the screening of Armageddon Time.

In a recent chat with The Times of India, Deepika talked about being a jury member at a major film festival. Deepika was quoted as saying, “For your work to finally be appreciated on a worldwide scale such as this, and to be able to represent the nation, certainly, there is a feeling of gratitude and being really overwhelmed,” She further remarked that one requires the correct intention, patience, and belief and also stressed that “this is where we belong”. “And it seems like that’s finally occurring now.” Everything should have occurred much sooner, but I believe, it took its own time. It’s taken decades of labor from many individuals to bring us to this place, “Deepika said.”
