Bollywood comedian Satish Kaushik passed away

Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood actor Satish Kaushik passed away at the age of 66.

According to Indian media reports, the actor’s family has confirmed his death and said that Satish Kaushik suffered a heart attack while traveling in a car in New Delhi, from which he died on the spot.

Actor Anupam Kher also informed his fans about Satyan Kaushik’s death on Twitter and wrote, ‘I know that death is the ultimate truth of this world, but I never dreamed that I would one day experience this at my best. I will write about a friend.’

Anupam Kher expressed grief over the death of his close friend and said that ’45 years of friendship has suddenly come to a full stop, life will never be the same without you Satish!’

On social media, fellow actors are also condoling the sudden death of Satish Kaushik.

It may be recalled that Kahistesh Kaushik received much acclaim for his role as Kalender in the 1987 super hit film Mr. India, after which he went on to do comedy roles in several films.

He was also a famous director and screenwriter. Satish Kaushik has directed many films including Salman’s famous film Tere Naam, Roop Ki Rani Choru Ka Raja, Prem and the famous film Hum Aap Dil Mein Rahe Hai.
