Alia Bhatt makes the ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ posture during the Berlin Film Festival.
Alia Bhatt ignited the red carpet upon her arrival at her third Berlin International Film Festival for the world premiere of her next, highly awaited film, Gangubai Kathiawadi, in the Berlinale Special category, a section devoted to exceptional filmmaking.
The actress, who plays Gangubai, a real-life mafia queen from 1960s Bombay, wore an all-white elegant suit that included a white jacket with a high collar and a flared skirt below.
She went for a bare makeup appearance, with her hair pulled back in a half bun, and accented her outfit with huge pearl earrings.

At the event, the Raazi actress also performed the iconic ‘Gangubai‘ position, leaving admirers in awe of her film character. As she stood in front of the camera, she linked both of her hands in a ‘namaste‘ posture.
Alia will be performing at the international festival for the third time. Previously, she attended the BIFF with her films, Highway and Gully Boy.
Gangubai Kathiawadi, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, also stars Ajay Devgn, Vijay Raaz, and others. The film is scheduled to open in theatres on February 25.
