With a $51 million investment for Pathaan, SRK revitalises Bollywood.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan is off to a great start at the domestic box office. The first-day earnings of Pathaan are among the best ever, exceeding those of War (2019), which brought in 50 crore net, and KGF 2 (Hindi), which brought in 52 crore net. According to a Box Office India report, “Pathaan has earned a phenomenal opening day at the box office, garnering a 50-51 crore nett collection in its Hindi version.” The action film, which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, has reportedly broken numerous non-holiday records. On Wednesday, industry expert Taran Adarsh tweeted about Pathaan’s predicted first-day sales at major retailers.
