The Legend of Maula Jatt directed by Bilal Lashari, gathered millions of fans before the official release date, with its trailer garnering more than 60 million views on social media platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook.
The Story of Maula Jatt is believed to represent the highest-priced film of Pakistani film history. It features famous actors like Hamza Ali Abbasi Fawad Khan Mahira Khan Humaima Malick Gohar Rasheed and other actors.
This Lashari film, which stars prominent singers Ali Azmat and Faris Shafi is scheduled to release in cinemas on October 13 2022.
Yunus Malik was the producer of the Punjabi version of the film that made the rounds in 1979, Maula Jatt. Screenplays were written by Lashari and the dialogue was composed by Nasir Adeeb. The film was originally scheduled to be released in the year 2019 but was delayed due to legal problems which were later solved.
