Kriti Sanon’s Mother Extends Support to Controversial Film ‘Adipurush’
Amidst the ongoing controversy surrounding the release of the film ‘Adipurush’, starring Kriti Sanon and Prabhas, the actress’s mother, Geeta Sanon, has come forward to lend her support to the film.
Geeta Sanon took to her Instagram handle to share a cryptic post with the caption, “Jai Shree Ram.” The post she shared conveyed a message about looking at the world with a positive mindset and finding beauty in it. It referenced Lord Ram and the lesson of finding love in the offerings made by Shabari, regardless of their imperfections.
The post emphasized the importance of not focusing on a person’s mistakes but understanding their emotions instead.
Directed by Om Raut, ‘Adipurush’ is a mythological film based on the Hindu epic Ramayan. It features Prabhas in the role of Raghava, Kriti as Janaki, and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh.
The movie has faced backlash from audiences who claim that it contains disrespectful dialogues and criticize its visual effects (VFX).
Despite the controversy, ‘Adipurush’ has managed to make an impressive box office collection of nearly INR 400 crore within just five days of its release. The film, made on a budget of INR 500 crore, continues to draw attention and spark discussions among viewers.
