The major characters in The Legend of Maula Jatt are played by Fawad Khan, Humaima Malick, Mahira Khan, and Hamza Ali Abbasi. The film, like Maula Jatt and Wehshi Jatt, is a remake of Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi’s Urdu drama Gandasa.
Producer Ammarah Hikmat and actor Mirza Gohar Rasheed responded to the claims on social media, offering their own perspectives.
Hikmat stated that there would be no announcements, which Rasheed mocked. On Instagram, the producer said, “This time no announcements, only surprises!” beside a photo of the Pakistani flag.
All assertions that Bhatti and the film’s producers struck a financial deal have been refuted. Bhatti believes he took the decision because he is concerned about the success of the regional film.
“Throughout my career, I have worked tirelessly for the advancement of local cinema and the film industry.” If abandoning the case would benefit the film business, I would do so. “Surely, additional local releases around the country will assist the business,” Bhatti added.
