Name: Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2
Director: Anees Bazmee
Cast: Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, Tabu

Rating: 3 / 5

Anees Bazmee is in charge of directing Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which also has important roles for Sanjay Mishra, Rajpal Yadav, Ashwini Kalsekar, Rajesh Sharma, and Govind Namdeo.

I’ve always said that horror and comedy are two of the hardest types of movies to make because it’s not easy to scare people or make them laugh. So, when you put them together, it’s most important to find the right balance, or else the result could go either way. But in the movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, directed by Anees Bazmee, he has found the right footing. The second movie in the series, starring Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu, has the same thrills and scares as the first, but the story is very different from the first, with the exception of Manjulika.

Ruhan Randhawa (Aaryan) and Reet Rathore (Advani) are two strangers who meet in a snowy area and decide to spend some time at a music festival. This helps them avoid a fatal accident. But fate then sends them straight to an abandoned castle, where they face bigger problems, including Manjulika. Part 1 was a psychological thriller with some scary parts. This part shows the main bad guy’s face.

Anees Bazmee is known for making comedic movies like the Welcome series, Singh Is Kinng, and No Entry. Because of this, the funny parts of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 don’t really come as a surprise, since the director is so good at making comedies. But the scary parts of this sequel also make it worth watching. He hasn’t used jump scares, but he has used a lot of different things to make each scene stand out. For example, a puzzle scene that fits with the name of the movie.

Good writers, like Aakash Kaushik, who wrote the story and screenplay, make it easier for a director to do his or her job. Even though the story has some small problems, especially in the ending, which seemed to drag on, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 still manages to keep your attention. Farhad Samji and Aakash Kaushik wrote good dialogue, and DOP Manu Anand’s camera captures the right feelings. The background music is also one of the most important parts of a horrorcomedy, and Sandeep Shirodkar does a great job with that.

Of course, the original background music comes in handy at many points, which gives the movie a nostalgic feel. The film has a smooth flow thanks to editor Bunty Nagi. The art director, Ajay Verekar, and production designer, Rajat Poddar, help the film meet the needs of its genre. Mukesh Chhabra is a great choice for the part.

When it comes to their roles, Kartik, Kiara, and Tabu all do a good job. The chemistry between the two leads is especially worth watching. The supporting actors do a great job with their roles, which makes you wonder if Sanjay Mishra, Rajpal Yadav, Ashwini Kalsekar, Rajesh Sharma, and Govind Namdeo can’t do anything. Both Amar Upadhyay and Milind Gunaji do a good job, but their roles aren’t very big. A lot of people will love Samarth Chauhan as Potlu.

Overall, the movie has a wide range of appeal and could bring people back to the theater.
