The film “Huey Tum Ajnabi” will be directed by journalist Kamran Shahid.

With the movie Huey Tum Ajnabi, renowned Pakistani journalist Kamran Shahid tried his hand at directing. In an interview, the famous L.A. star’s son said that it took six years to complete the film, citing lengthy theatre closures brought on by the COVID outbreak in earlier years. The cast of the film includes Ayesha Omar, Mikaal Zulfiqar, and Shamoon Abbasi.

Because it brought up the 1971 episodes once more, the TV host called Huey Tum Ajnabi’s topic “difficult,” adding that it needed to be addressed sensitively and without bringing up your failings. He claimed that in his first movie, he would present an impartial account of what happened forty years ago.
On a lighter note, the talk show host stated that he would rather direct the film than remain in the background. He added that he doesn’t need to be famous because he communicates with his audience on his tiny screen every day.

When asked if he would portray any current politicians as Sheikh Mujeeb, Kamran declined, citing art and movies as creative endeavours requiring commitment. Mikal Zulfiqar, the film’s lead actor, shared his thoughts as well, calling it a combination of romance, action, suspense, and historical truths, among other things. Shafqat Cheema and Sohail Ahmed, two renowned performers, as well as other cast members, shared their thoughts on the play.

Among the film’s remarkable cast are Shamoon Abbasi, Sadia Khan, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Samina Peerzada, and Ayesha Omar. It will be made available on Eid al-Fitr.
