Sushmita beat out women from 77 different countries to become the first Indian woman to win the Miss Universe title.
On Saturday, the Aarya actress marked the event by posting a photo of herself from the post on Twitter.
“It’s a feeling to be beautiful. 28 years ago, India won Miss Universe for the very first time. Time passes… “Beauty remains!!” she wrote in the post’s caption.
Sen is known for her beauty, but she has also made a name for herself in Bollywood with movies like Biwi No.1, Main Hoon Na, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, and many more.
