Pakistani actor Fawad Khan has a huge global fan base. After putting the viewers in crazy over his performance in Pakistani TV shows, he proceeded to make his major Bollywood debut at the age of 14 in Khoobsurat with Sonam Kapoor. The actor went on to be a part of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil with Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, as well as Kapoor & Sons with Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. He received lots of praise for his performance. However, artists and actors from Pakistan were banned in the year 2016 in the aftermath of the Uri attack.
Does Fawad Khan coming back for Bollywood?
In an interview in a recent interview with Variety, Fawad spoke about his plans to return to Bollywood. There was lots of attention from women there. When asked if would like to be a part of Bollywood in the future, Fawad stated that he cannot give a definitive answer until things have stabilized’. He added, “The collaboration with the people I got to meet and the types of people I came across in the process was fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The fallout from the political debate hasn’t changed our relationship however it has caused us to be cautious about asking such a question. I am not a fan of confrontation. I really don’t like it and dislike it. And I don’t enjoy debate either.”
Then, he said it’s up to the individual whether anyone else would want to collaborate with him instead of working with others since fingers will be directed at them. Fawad said that he’ll complete his work and then leave, but the ones who suffer are those who would like to work with him.
‘I made great friends’
He also talked about having a great relationship with people he’s had the privilege of working with throughout Bollywood. He also said that he would like to work together again, possibly in an international or Indian platform. “I am in a good rapport with the people I’ve worked with, and have made wonderful friends. I’d love to meet them in the future and possibly be able to work with them once more. It could will be an international platform such as one that is a Pakistani platform or one of the Indian platform. Mainstream Bollywood is completely different,” said Fawad.
Professionally speaking, Fawad is scheduled to be to be seen on screen in The Legend of Maula Jatt along with Mahira Khan. The movie is set to come out on the 13th of October.
