Raveena celebrates her dad’s birthday by posting a video of pictures of him when he was young.

Raveena Tandon sent her late father, producer and director Ravi Tandon, birthday wishes that included pictures of her as a child. Last year, he passed away. Raveena made a video of old and new pictures of her father and family. In it, she showed an old picture of her daughter, Rasha Thadani, with her grandfather. “Happy birthday, Papa,” she wrote in the caption. “I’m missing you.” She also put an emoji of a heart in the caption.

The first picture in the video was of Raveena when she was a baby, held by her father. She was wearing a dress and a hairband in the black-and-white photo. In another picture, the actress was wearing a cute dress and being held by her father while they both looked into the camera. Raveena, her father, her mother, Veena Tandon, and her brother, Rajiv Tandon, were all in the picture. They were all wearing traditional clothes and smiling in the picture, which was likely taken at a family event.

Raveena also showed some photos of her father from recent events where he was by himself. Raveena’s granddaughter held her grandfather’s hand while the actor took a picture of them for the montage. Raveena also showed pictures of her and her father from both the past and the present. She also posted a picture of her kissing her dad on the cheek at an event.

Ravi Tandon, Raveena’s father, died in February of last year. He was 87 years old. “He had lung fibrosis for many years,” a family member told PTI at the time. “He died at 3:30 a.m. today because he couldn’t breathe.” Raveena wrote an emotional post on Instagram about her father at the time. In a series of photos with him, Raveena had written, “You will always walk with me, I will always be you, and I’ll never let go.” I adore you, papa.”

In an interview with Cinestaan in 2020, Raveena talked about the movies her father made. She said, “I’m so proud of how my father ran his business.” He was known for being able to direct many different kinds of movies. He could make comedies like “Khel Khel Mein” and psychological thrillers like “Jawab” and “Majboor.” People said he was a gentleman director. Even now, whenever I see Ashaji (Asha Parekh), Waheedaji (Waheeda Rehman), or Moushmi ji, they always have such great things to say about him. He was close with Chintu ji (Rishi Kapoor) for a long time.
