Ranveer Singh calls Shah Rukh Khan a “pioneer of Indian showbiz” and explains why.

Ranveer Singh praised Shah Rukh Khan for his contributions to Bollywood and even referred to him as the entertainment industry’s pioneer.

In a recent interview with Film Companion, the Gully Boy actor discussed his appreciation for the superstar and how he has ruled B town for decades.

“That man is real brilliance. “There is no question that Shah Rukh Khan is an incredible pioneer in Indian entertainment,” the 36-year-old said.

The Padmaavat actress went on to say that Dilwale’s actor is a “king for a reason.”

Singh, interestingly, remembered a joke he said the other day.

“Inhone jo mall banaya hai usmein hum apni dukaan chalaa rahe hai (We operate our businesses in the mall he created),” he said.

The vivacious actor referred to Khan as a “pioneer,” believing that “Khan has made Indian entertainment what it is.”

“Whether it’s award shows or live events, he’s the standard, and he defines it,” added the Dil Dhadakne Do star.

The RamLeela actor also expressed his desire to see King Khan return to the big screen.

“I’m in love with him. “I have a lot of respect for him, and I can’t wait to see him back on screen,” he said.
