Legendary actor Muhammad Qavi Khan was laid to rest in Canada after performing the funeral prayers.
Famous Pakistani actor Qavi Khan’s funeral prayer was attended by his close relatives and people belonging to the Pakistani community in large numbers, after which he was laid to rest in the Muslim community graveyard there.
The famous TV and film actor died yesterday at the age of 80. He was suffering from cancer and had been staying with his children in Canada for some time for treatment.
Qavi Khan was born in Peshawar in 1942. He has acted in more than 200 TV dramas and films besides performing in theaters and radio. And the star has been awarded with distinction.
This year, the government also nominated Muhammad Qavi Khan for Pakistan’s biggest award “Nishan Pakistan” besides Radio and Pakistan Television honored him with Lifetime Achievement Award.
Actor Mohammad Qavi Khan has acted in dramas like Lakhin Mein Tein, Alf Noon, Andhera Ajala, Din, Angar Wadi, Ashiana, also acted in films like Tiger Gang, Mati Ke Patale, Society Gur, Begum Jaan, Sarfroosh.
