Prakash Raj called The Kashmir Files a “nonsense film,” to which Anupam replies.

Recently, actor Anupam Kher addressed Prakash Raj’s statement that “The Kashmir Files” was “one of the nonsensical pictures.” In the Vivek Agnihotri-directed film, Anupam played the lead character alongside Pallavi Joshi, Mithun Chakraborty, and Darshan Kumaar, among others. Anupam claimed that some people are compelled to live their lives through deceit in response to Prakash’s views about the movie.

The plot of The Kashmir Files, which was released last year, is still a topic of discussion. It brings up the Hindu flight from Kashmir in the 1990s. The screenplay was co-written by Vivek and Saurabh M. Pandey and is being produced by Zee Studios.

In an interview, Anupam Kher addressed Prakash’s most recent criticism of the film. He told the Navbharat Times, “Apni apni aukat ki baat karte hain log.” Kuch log zindagi bhar sach bolte hain, kuch log zindagi bhar jhooth bolna padta hai.Is this your first login? Zindagi bhar sach bol ke Zindagi jiyein hain?Uski marzi ke aaya hai, Jhooth bol ke jeena hai.People talk according to their status. Some individuals are compelled to lie their entire lives, while others always speak the truth. I consider myself one of the truth-tellers. (Those who prefer to make a living by deceiving may do so.)

The Kashmir Files had earlier been referred to as a “propaganda film” by Prakash. At a gathering in Kerala, he continued, “The Kashmir Files is one of those absurd movies, but we know who created it.” Shameless. A foreign juror spat on them. They keep acting shamelessly. The other party, a director, is still pondering this question: “Why am I not receiving an Oscar?” He will not even receive a reprimand.

There is sensitive media out there, which is why I’m alerting you. Here, you can shoot a propagandist film. According to my sources, they paid close to 2000 crore just to make movies like this, so I know this. But he had also said that you can’t always trick people.

Among the 301 films that met the criteria for the 95th Academy Awards were several Indian films. The Kashmir Files was initially selected for the list but was rejected in favour of films like Gangubai Kathiawadi and Kantara. Prior to that, Israeli director Nadav Lapid commented on The Kashmir Files during the 53rd International Film Festival of India’s concluding ceremony. The production team found his use of the terms “vulgar” and “propaganda” insulting.
