Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited film “Jawan” has been postponed from its original release date of June 2, with the studio expected to announce a new date soon. The makers have decided to push the release date due to the need for more time to complete the visual effects of the film, in order to deliver a product that competes with the best in the country.
Sources suggest that the release date of Jawan will likely be in August. The team is currently considering several dates, including June 29 and all the four weeks of August. The final date will be determined based on the completion of the VFX guidelines, which is a top priority for the Red Chillies team. August 11 and August 25 are currently being discussed as potential release dates.
The team at Red Chillies is committed to delivering an uncompromised product, and will take everything into account before announcing the final date. Although the delay had been expected, the stakeholders were hoping for the VFX to be completed by early May. Despite the competition in August, Jawan is anticipated to be a strong contender with Shah Rukh Khan leading the cast.
