Mahira Khan appears stunning in the official song of Peshawar Zalmi.

TCL has published the much-anticipated PSL 8 anthem, “Zalmi Raalal,” in cooperation with Peshawar Zalmi. Hassan Dawar directed the song, which is a powerful fusion of Peshawar Zalmi’s three major passions: music, fashion, and athletics. The hymn, which honours the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region and its people, has garnered over one million views across all online platforms since its release, with the number gradually increasing. The renowned and narrative-focused song features Mahira Khan, Zalmi players, and head coach Darren Sammy, who is beloved by all Pakistanis.

The hymn also includes Pashto, Urdu, and English to produce a musical harmony that represents the variety of Zalmi’s support group.


Along with Sammy, the song video includes notable Peshawar Zalmi champions and sportsmen such as Muhammad Haris, Saim Ayub, Arshad Iqbal, and others. It is a varied and beautiful multilingual blend of Pashto, Urdu, and English. Mahira Khan, the team’s brand representative, shared a sneak peek of the music on Instagram with the description “Peshawar Zalmi… Always!”

The TCL and Peshawar Zalmi anthems provide a stage for new and upcoming artists to showcase their abilities, adding to the excitement of the PSL season. TCL’s director of marketing, Majid Khan Niazi, took pride in allowing “Zalmi Raalal” and finding new talent to make this PSL season one to remember. Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi CCO Nausherwan Effandi emphasised the team’s commitment to assisting emerging musicians in Pakistan and working with a worldwide music producer to ignite the youth’s enthusiasm and ingenuity.
