In “Magic Mike 3,” Salma Hayek claimed swapping roles was “empowering.”

Salma Hayek Pinault is relieved that, once again, the on-screen stripping will be performed by someone else. The Oscar hopeful plays a wealthy socialite who gathers a bunch of beautiful dancers to produce a steamy stage show, with help from “Magic” Mike himself, who gives her character a legendary lap dance early in the film.

Hayek Pinault states that the 1996 film From Dusk Till Dawn “changed” her career after she played a stripper. She feels that this role reversal was “full circle” after playing strippers in films like Americano and From Dusk Till Dawn.

“It felt like a complete circle to me.” And since I’ve had to play the stripper before, that was one of the movie’s attractions. “To change the roles felt liberating,” says Hayek Pinault, 56.

Also mentioned is the lap dance with 42-year-old Tatum. Although I’ve danced in other movies before, I’ve always done it for a male, so this was really different. This time, it genuinely seemed like he was dancing for me. We aimed for a unified artistic quality. I wasn’t just observing this person dance because we connected and were moving together.

Hayek Pinault was intrigued by the role’s universal themes as well as the novelty of having the men dance.

“I think a lot of women empathise with and relate to feeling undercut and having things to say and do and just feeling like you’re not taken seriously by your own family, or in her case, the spouse and her friends,” the actress says. And when you feel like you have more potential but aren’t in the appropriate conditions, people seem to have given up on you. and mustering the courage to act.

“I don’t think there’s a lady who hasn’t experienced that problem in her life,” she continues. By the way, there are also a lot of men.

Will Hayek Pinault’s “extremely cool” 15-year-old daughter Valentina watch Magic Mike, her mother’s “empowering” film?”Perhaps one,” says the actress.

“I think Valentina will eventually see the movie if she wants to.” Although I’m in it, I’m not sure if she will see it, but Hayek Pinault says she won’t ignore it either. She replied to my query, “Okay, they offered me this movie.” If you’re going to do it, just make sure you don’t do these three dance moves. Should I proceed?

She explains, “She gave me instructions on the three manoeuvres, and it was quite entertaining. “Oh, don’t worry, I don’t really get to dance in this one,” I reassured her. “Okay, then it’s fine,” she says. Yet the boys were performing the three moves she had instructed me to. I followed up by asking, “Wait a sec, did you watch [the previous Magic Mike movies]?” and she responded, “No, but you can find all the footage on YouTube.”
