Akshay Kumar and Honey Singh got together to sing the song “Kudi Chamkeeli” from the upcoming movie “Selfiee” on the spot. The movie’s song was released to the public on Saturday. Honey for Selfiee wrote, sang, and put together the music for Kudi Chamkeeli. The singer-composer also made a cameo appearance in the music video, along with Akshay and his co-star Diana Penty.
Akshay put the video on Instagram and wrote, “Introducing Kudi Chamkeeli, which has me and @yoyohoneysingh on-air. We didn’t do too badly on the three-chair challenge, did we? Try it out, why don’t you? Yes, I’ll repost (emoji with a face turned upside down).” Akshay wore sunglasses, a white shirt, and grey pants. Honey Singh was seen wearing a black T-shirt over a brown jacket and jeans. Even inside the plane, he had on sunglasses.
People who watched Akshay and Honey didn’t like how “amateur” it was made. One Instagram user wrote, “Me: Who’s looking at Honey Singh shifting seats in reflection?” and several crying faces with tears emojis.Another fan called them the “King of the Music Business” and the “Khiladi of Bollywood.”Another fan said, “It’s great to see them together again after nine years,” adding, “They haven’t changed much in nine years.”
The 2019 Malayalam movie Driving Licence, in which Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu starred, has been translated into Hindi by Raj Mehta and is called Selfiee. Akshay and Prithviraj also made the upcoming movie, which comes out in theatres on February 24.
Emraan Hashmi and Nushratt Bharuccha join Akshay and Diana in the Hindi movie. The movie is about a superstar, played by Akshay, and a police officer who likes him and wants to be like him, played by Emraan Hashmi. Akshay’s character needs to get a driver’s licence right away, and Emraan’s character says he will help. When things go wrong, however, there is a lot of bad blood between the two. The movie Selfie was made by Dharma Productions, Magic Frames, Prithviraj, Cape of Good Films, and Star Studios.
Selfie is the first movie that Akshay will be in this year. Also coming out soon are the Hindi remakes of Soorarai Pottru, OMG 2: Oh My God! 2, and the biography of Jaswant Singh Gill. In the Marathi movie Vedat Marathe Veer Daudale Saat, he also plays Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
