At the Karachi premiere, ‘Parde Mein Rehne Do’ won hearts.

The lovely cast of Wajahat Rauf’s Parde Mein Rehne Do (PMRD) took the lead in oozing their charm as they strolled down the red carpet laid up at Karachi’s Nueplex Cinemas.

This star-studded event took place on Sunday, May 1. It celebrated Pakistan’s film industry for its efforts to make local films more interesting while also bringing up a difficult social issue.

The Showcase Films and Geo Films show, set to premiere on Eid Ul Fitr 2022, centres on the topic of male infertility, a subject that has long been taboo in our culture.

From leading lady Hania Amir to the film’s hero, Ali Rehman Khan, the event’s glamour-filled appearances left observers speechless as the throng swarmed to the site to get a peek of their favourite performers.

During the film’s premiere, Rauf said that people liked how PMRD’s story tried to start a debate about an important topic.

As they exited the cinemas, fans expressed their reactions to the film, with practically everyone praising Amir for her beauty and wonderful performance in her long-awaited return to the big screen.

Additionally, fans lauded Jawed Sheikh’s excellent depiction of a strong character. Sheikh directed the film and played the father of the male protagonist.

While one moviegoer expressed admiration for the project’s production value, the other couldn’t help but mention the film’s music.

In addition to the chuckles and hilarity generated by the film’s humour, the audience was left teary-eyed by a subtle nod to the late Bilquis Bano Edhi.

A fan of the movie said the filmmakers did a great job of showing the late social worker’s humanitarian work.
