The actress Neena Gupta re-posted a video of herself from several decades ago in various roles. Neena debuted a video showcasing her Mandi (1983), Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron (1983), Mirza Ghalib (1988), and Trikal (1988) roles on Instagram on Monday (1985).

In the Netflix original series Masaba Masaba, Neena and Masaba co-starred. Sonam Nair wrote and directed Masaba Masaba, a biographical play based on the life of Masaba Gupta. It is produced and made by Ashvini Yardi’s Vinyard Films. Season one premiered in August 2020, while season two was released in July 2022.
The last time Neena made an appearance on screen was in the thriller Vadh, written and directed by Jaspal Singh Sandhu and Rajiv Barnwal. On December 9, 2022, Vadh, a Luv Films production, made its theatrical debut. The film also stars Sanjay Mishra, Saurabh Sachdeva, and Manav Vij in addition to Neena.
