Peshawar: It has been 8 years since the terrorist attack on Army Public School Peshawar.

On 16 December 2014, on this very day, terrorists attacked Army Public School in Peshawar, targeting innocent children and brutally martyred more than 100 students. The parents of martyrs are still traumatized, even the parents whose children were saved could not forget that horrible day.

After losing their loved ones, the nation decided to fight the terrorists with renewed determination while the government also launched the National Action Plan for Counter-Terrorism. Terrorists tried to break the spirit of the country and the security institutions by targeting the future architects, but the ongoing educational activities across the country are sending a message to the enemies of the country that there has been no change in the determination of the nation, martyrs’ sacrifices will not go in vain.
In the brutal attack of the terrorists, the 10th grade student Asfand Khan was also a target of bullets. The parents are still holding the piece of liver in the same way.

The terrorists also martyred the school teacher Farhat Abbas who lit the candle of knowledge. Farhat Abbas ran towards his children who were in Cross School when they heard the gunshots. They were shot in the stairs. Even today, the memory of Shaheed Farhat Abbas makes his family sad.

Shaheed Hasan Zeib’s father has kept all the things used by his son in one room. Childhood photos also adorn Hasanzeb’s room, where along with perfumes he used to wear uniforms and other items, the house now has only Hasanzeb’s memories.

Benish, the brave daughter of the nation, was martyred while standing in front of the terrorists and saving the lives of children in the auditorium hall.

15-year-old Osama Tahirawan is also among these martyrs, the wounds of Osama’s parents are still fresh. Osama’s personal items still adorn the room today, from medals to books and cameras reminding him.
