Ali Zafar keeps his promise to support kickboxing champion, Agha Kaleem

Ali Zafar keeps his promises, both in his professional and personal life. The renowned Pakistani singer-songwriter has been a popular figure in the music industry for years and has also gained a reputation for his philanthropic activities. Recently, when Agha Kaleem, a world kickboxing champion, reached out to Zafar for help, the singer promised to provide all possible support.
Kaleem, who had failed to secure sponsorships for his international competitions, had to give up his dream and start working at a local tea stall in Karachi. However, he did not give up and took to Twitter to ask for help. Fortunately, his request was noticed by Zafar, who promised to support him in any way he could.
After meeting with Zafar, Kaleem thanked the singer for his love and support and tweeted, “JazakAllah sir G for Your Support And love unforgettable Allah pak ap ko mazeed kamyaabi Ata farme Ameen sum Ameen. Waiting for @SAfridiOfficial Lala.” Zafar also praised Kaleem, calling him a “fighter” and a “champion,” and urged him to continue being a hero for Pakistan.
Former cricketer Shahid Afridi also offered to help Kaleem through his foundation and advised him to contact SAFoundationN and megastarsleague, which were created to provide support for athletes like him.
In a recent interview with a local media publication, Kaleem shared his struggles as an athlete, from winning international championships to receiving no recognition or aid. Despite winning numerous championships and being a national champion, he had to work at a tea stall due to the lack of financial support. He recalled how he had to subsist on water and dates at the airport during one of his trips, as he could not afford the expenses.
Despite the financial difficulties, Kaleem remains determined to continue representing Pakistan in international competitions and winning championships. Thanks to the support of people like Zafar and Afridi, he hopes to fulfill his dreams and inspire others to never give up on their aspirations.
