When we were filming Baharo Ke Sapne, Rajesh Khanna had an inferiority complex, according to Asha Parekh.

When they collaborated on the 1967 Nasir Hussain movie Baharon Ke Sapne, Rajesh Khanna might have had an inferiority complex, claims Asha Parekh. With the success of her second film, Dil Deke Dekho, as well as Teesri Manzil, Love in Tokyo, and Do Badan, among many others, Asha was already well-known in the film business. The movie was Rajesh’s second.

Asha remembered working with the nation’s first celebrity at an ABP function in Mumbai: “He was basically an introvert and hardly spoke to people” (on sets). He was unquestionably introverted. He would occupy a nook while zyada baat nahi karni. will not talk much. As an alternative, Shayad (possibly) banished Thi to Wo Unki Dusri Picture Thi Baharon Ke Sapne (maybe because it was only his second film). Nanda, not I, was supposed to be the protagonist of the movie, but as the main character in Baharon Ke Sapne Karne wali bhi nahi thi, Nanda was going to play the glamorous lead role. She refused because the role wasn’t glamorous.

She continued, “Nasir Hussain then came up to me and encouraged me to begin working on the project. He easily agreed when I asked him to change the times so that they would work with my schedule. There were a few instances involving Rajesh Khanna as a consequence of the dates (of Baharon ke Sapne) having to be switched around on numerous occasions due to disputes and inability. He was generally quiet, and I had the feeling that he had an inadequacy complex. Tobe maine kaha (perhaps he had an inferiority complex at the time). He had a little bit of an inferiority problem, but once he became well known, everything transformed.
