Humsafar, a Pakistani TV show, has once again caught the attention of its loyal fans. Many people didn’t know until recently that the popular telenovela’s theme song had a story behind it.
A TikTok user recently revealed new details about the ghazal that became the title song, which shocked people all over the world. Pakistani poet Naseer Turabi wrote both the ghazal and the title song. When he wrote the words, he had in mind the breakup of East and West Pakistan. Later, the well-known ghazal by Turabi was used in the soundtrack for the movie Humsafar.
