Arjun Das, who has been in movies like Kaithi, Master, and Vikram, is getting ready to make his Bollywood debut. The actor is getting ready to act for the first time in the Hindi version of the popular Malayalam movie, Angamaly Diaries. The Hindi version of the movie will be directed by Madhumita Sundararaman, who became famous with the Tamil movie “Karuppudurai.”
“I’m glad that my first step into the Hindi film world is on such a strong footing,” says Arjun Das, who makes his debut with the movie. He also said, “With Madhumita in charge of the remake of such a great film as Angamaly Diaries and Abundantia Entertainment and Vikram producing the film, I couldn’t have asked for a better start to this new chapter for me.” Madhumita has given this movie its own style, and I can’t wait for people to see what she had in mind for it.
Director Madhumita took the lead and said, “Abundantia Entertainment has a strong history of supporting and making stories that are exciting and moving forward.” I’m excited and thankful to be working with a producer who supports different voices. This movie will be my take on Lijo’s amazing movie, but it will still be true to the original. We hope that the Hindi film will get the same love and praise as the original film, and I’m proud to be in charge of it. I couldn’t have asked for a better actor than Arjun to play the main character in my movie, Xavier. It’s been a pleasure to work with him and the rest of this talented cast and crew as we bring this story to life.
In the Hindi version of Angamaly Diaries, which is set in Goa, a group of friends form their own “gang” to run a business against all odds in a community that is as different as they are. The Hindi remake is being paid for by Abundantia Entertainment, which is also in charge of the Hindi version of Soorarai Pottru with Akshay Kumar.
In 2019, Vishwak Sen played the main role in the Telugu version of the movie, called Falaknuma Das.
