Ranbir Kapoor says Brahmastra’s budget is fake.
Ranbir Kapoor is a Bollywood actor. He’s one of Bollywood’s highest-paid actors and has been on Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list since 2012.
Ranbir Kapoor defended Brahmastra after Kangana Ranaut questioned its success. Kangana cited the movie’s high budget to argue that it must do more to be successful. Ranbir remarked in a recent interview that the budget statistics for Brahmastra are “false.”
Kangana Ranaut posted Wednesday about Brahmastra’s revenues. She claimed a 650-crore movie can’t be a hit if it makes 246 crores. Sources say Brahmastra cost 410 crore rupees. The film has grossed 350 crores worldwide and under 200 crore in India. Ayan Mukerji plans to develop a trilogy named Brahmastra Part One: Shiva.
Ranbir added, “We read a lot about film budgets these days.” People speak so much for the budget and recovery. Brahmastra is special because its budget covers a trilogy.
