You prefer to generate strife amongst couples, be it Good Newwz or Jug Jugg Jeeyo.

It’s not intentional. I found these stories and enjoyed them. Both stories had couples.

How can divorce and IVF be funny?

Intentional. The premise can be funny and emotional. I think every film must be engaging to elicit a response. My work always includes comedy. These topics may have been serious, but we kept it lighthearted. Good Newwz has less drama than Jug Jugg Jeeyo.

How difficult was Jug Jugg Jeeyo’s casting?

My last life must have been good. While writing, I knew Anil sir. Anil sir is Bheem. Varun Mistaken. Varun and Kiara are friendly coworkers. Karan (Johar) solely recommended Neetu Ma’am. Karan proposed the name, and I thought, well, there can’t be anyone before.

Does Good Newzz’s success increase pressure because it’s addictive?

I’m not addicted, but it adds pressure. I’m prepared for failure. I’m confident. Films are subjective. Someone else’s art could be your trash. If I fail, I’ll be prepared. Inevitable failure.

Will the Jug Jugg Jeeyo squad reunite?

I’m currently talking with Karan. I’m excited about Selfie. Then I’ll go on.
