Aamir Khan discusses his relationship with ex-wife Kiran Rao, stating that they ‘love each other.
Aamir Khan, the Bollywood actor, has revealed details about his relationship with his ex-wife Kiran Rao.
The former couple divorced in July, after 15 years of marriage.
He also said that Kiran once told him that he is uninterested in his family and that whenever the family discusses anything, his attention wanders. Aamir said that he has undergone a significant transformation during the previous six to seven months.
When questioned whether this was a factor in their divorce, the PK star refuted the charges, stating that he and Kiran love each other and are real families.
“Kiran and I adore one another. We have a great deal of regard and affection for one another. However, many do not understand this, which I accept since we seldom see it. Indeed, Kiran and I realised how much we adore one another and regard one another as family in the purest sense “he said.
“Kiran and I are in fact related. However, our connection as husband and wife evolved, and we wanted to honour the institution of marriage. However, we will always be there for one another. We are collaborating. We reside nearby. However, we are no longer husband and wife, which is why we have chosen to call it quits,” the actor, who turns 57 today, said.
