Mesha Shafi, the singer who has been accused of harassing her and Ali Zafar, has revealed her annual earnings.
The Lahore Sessions Court heard Ali Zafar’s Rs 1 billion defamation complaint against Mesha Shafi.
Mesha Shafi was cross-examined on his statement by Ali Zafar’s lawyers, Hisham Ahmad Khan and Umar Tariq Gul.
Mesha Shafiq stated during the interrogation that he has a Fine Arts degree from the National College of Arts.
Mesha Shafi stated that she is a permanent resident of Canada but not a citizen, that her source of income is Pakistan, that she pays taxes in both Canada and Pakistan on a regular basis, and that she pays taxes in both countries.
Mesha Shafi stated that she earned Rs 30-35 lakh per year in 2020 and 2021, and Rs 10 million in 2019.
The singer also said that she had an annual deal with Pepsi under which she served as a judge at the Pepsi event.
Mesha Shafi has already accused Ali Zafar of harassing her. Ali Zafar has filed a defamation claim in court against him.
