Kubra Khan Recalls Challenging Moments and Fainting Incidents During the Filming of ‘Sinf-e-Aahan’
Renowned film and TV star Kubra Khan recently opened up about the tough experience she faced during the filming of the drama serial ‘Sinf-e-Aahan,’ particularly due to the rigorous training schedules.
During an appearance on a chat show on a private news channel, the star of ‘London Nahi Jaunga’ revealed that she was initially taken aback when offered the role in the show.
“I was not expecting to be a part of ‘Sinf-e-Aahan’ because at that time, I had gained some weight, and the girls in the show needed to be physically fit for the cadet training. I was quite out of shape,” Khan shared with the host.
Khan went on to discuss the intense training that she and her fellow female co-stars had to undergo for the serial. She recounted a particular scene involving an obstacle course where she experienced a fainting incident due to her claustrophobia.
“There was a 3-second footage in the final cut where we had to go through a tunnel during the obstacle course. As soon as the director said ‘action,’ I got into it, but my G3 got stuck with a cylinder. Being extremely claustrophobic, as soon as I got out of it – the first one among all – I passed out,” Khan detailed.
Additionally, Khan shared that she had tested positive for COVID-19 during the shoot and was granted only a four-day break from the training. “On the first day back after recovering from COVID, we had a parade shoot, and I passed out again,” she added.
‘Sinf-e-Aahan’ depicted the inspiring story of seven girls from diverse backgrounds who chose to defy societal expectations and traditional female roles to answer their country’s call to duty. Their journey aimed to achieve something greater than themselves, transcending the limitations imposed by their families.
Despite the challenges faced during the filming of ‘Sinf-e-Aahan,’ Kubra Khan’s commitment to her role and dedication to delivering a powerful performance shine through.
