Kareena said, “I totally disagree with that.” If that happens, how will we have fun, and how will you have joy and happiness in your life, which I think everyone needs and which cinema and movies promise, as we’ve always done and as movies have always promised? “If films don’t exist, entertainment does.”

People on Twitter started using the hashtag #BoycottLaalSinghChaddha when Aamir Khan’s movie Laal Singh Chaddha came out to ask people not to watch it. Even movies with Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, like Liger, and Ranbir Kapoor, like Brahmastra, were called out by many people as ones that should be avoided. But Brahmastra did very well at the box office and was one of the most profitable movies of 2022. Well, the trend is back before Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s movie Pathaan comes out.
