Jaya Bachchan, according to Aishwarya Rai, “doesn’t do politics behind” her
Experienced actress Jaya Bachchan once talked about her relationship with her daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai. In a previous interview from 2010, Jaya asserted that if she didn’t like something about Aishwarya Rai, she would inform her “on her face.” Jaya also claimed that she “doesn’t do politics behind her back.”
While filming Dhoom 2, Jaya Bachchan’s actor-son Abhishek fell in love with Aishwarya. It was announced that they were engaged on January 14, 2007. The pair exchanged vows at the Bachchan residence in Mumbai, Prateeksha, on April 20, 2007. The pair welcomed their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan on November 16, 2011.
Jaya said of Aishwarya in an interview with Rediff, “She is my confidante.” If there is something about her that I don’t like, I inform her right away. I don’t participate in politics covertly. If she disagrees with me, she pipes up. The only difference is that she must be more courteous, while I can be a little more dramatic. You are aware of my age. only that
“At home, we really appreciate chatting nonsense.” just the two of us. Although she only has a short tenure, we always appreciate what she does. “I get along with her really well,” Jaya added.
Jaya will appear in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, the next romantic film from Karan Johar. The film also features appearances from Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, and Alia Bhatt. The movie’s debut is set for July 28, 2023.
Aishwarya most recently made an appearance in Mani Ratnam’s sweeping historical action drama Ponniyin Selvan 1, which drew overwhelmingly favourable reviews. In addition to Aishwarya, the film also featured major roles for Trisha Krishnan, Karthik Sivakumar, and Jayam Ravi. The discharge of Ponniyin Selvan took place on September 30 of last year.
