On his 58th birthday, Shah Rukh Khan treated his fans with a delightful surprise by releasing his recent blockbuster, “Jawan,” co-starring Nayanthara, on an OTT platform. This action-packed thriller, which set the box office ablaze, is now available for digital streaming, and to make it even better, it’s the extended edition of the film. What’s more, the OTT release includes a side of humor—a comical promo featuring King Khan himself.

Shah Rukh Khan Announces Jawan’s OTT Release with a Quirky Birthday Twist
On Thursday, November 2, the OTT platform hosting “Jawan” announced the digital release in a humorous fashion. Just as Shah Rukh Khan turned 58 at the stroke of midnight, a promo was unveiled, featuring him in character and accompanied by his entourage.

In the promo, Shah Rukh playfully demands that the platform release the film on OTT within the next two minutes, throwing a wrench into their original weekend release plans. When they make a heartfelt plea, “Please meri ‘Mannat’ hai aapse” (It’s my request to you), he responds with a touch of humor, saying, “Aye, Mannat toh meri hai” (Mannat is mine). Eventually, they agreed to an immediate release.

Infusing his signature charm, SRK reinterprets a famous movie dialogue in a novel manner. Instead of an explosion, a Happy Birthday banner unfurls, and he even cuts a cake, remarking, “Mere janamdin par aap sabke liye tofa” (A gift for all of you on my birthday).
