As “Khiladi” turns 30, Akshay Kumar thanks Abbas Mustan for giving him a “sense of identity.”
Abbas Alibhai Burmawalla and Mustan Alibhai Burmawalla, who are famous for making movies, celebrated Khiladi’s 30th anniversary by tweeting a picture of the movie’s poster and the words, “Chase the things that make you happy in life.”
“We did the same thing 30 years ago, and our first hit, “Khiladi,” made us happy.

In response to their post, the actor from Bell Bottom said, “Thank you, Abbas Mastan ji, for giving me my first success and the name Khiladi, which has stuck with me to this day.”
Khiladi came out in 1992, and it starred Ayesha Jhulka, Deepak Tijori, and Sabeeha. Prem Chopra, Shakti Kapoor, Anant Mahadevan, and Johnny Lever also had small roles in the movie.
Akshay’s most recent movie, Samrat Prithviraj, which also stars Manushi Chhillar, has been a big hit at the box office.
