Amit Sadh reveals that he keeps Sushant Singh Rajput’s memory alive inside of him.
Although Sushant Singh Rajput is no longer with us, his films and memories live on. Today marks 10 years since the release of his first film, Kai Po Che! The 2008 novel “The 3 Mistakes of My Life” by Chetan Bhagat was adapted into the film that marked the debut of Sushant and starred Rajkummar Rao and Amit Sadh in pivotal roles. The film was directed by Abhishek Kapoor and remains one of the most well-liked among admirers. In an interview conducted today, Amit Sadh spoke candidly about the film and his late co-star, SSR.
Amit Sadh disclosed that he, Sushant Singh Rajput, and Rajkummar Rao were all fresh, inexperienced, and filled with the desire to perform. Sadh continued, “Kai Po Che! will always be a unique film. I fondly recall those times. Gattu intended for us (Sushant, Raj, and I) to appear fresh, authentic, and natural. “”He did it, and as a result, audiences adored the film,” Sadh says, adding, “We were all relatively new to the industry at the time, which helped us bond well, understand each other’s working styles, and combine them to create an iconic film.” Sadh admits that the day also serves as a reminder of the bitter reality that Sushant is no longer with us: “Yes, it is the bitter truth, and no one has forgotten him. I honour him through film and maintain his memory within me.
Abhishek Kapoor shares never-before-seen images from the set of Kai Po Che.
Abhishek shared a number of unpublished photos with his sons via Instagram. Some of the photographs were taken on set, while others were taken for promotional purposes. In the photographs, Sushant, Rajkummar, and Amit can be seen displaying their endearing expressions. Along with the photographs, Abhishek included a touching note. He commended everyone for their continued support of the film.
