“All the roles I played were looking for me’ says Nagarjuna.
Nagarjuna is Nagarjuna is an Indian actor as well as a film producer, TV presenter and businessman. He has appeared in more than 100 films, mostly in Telugu and Tamil, as well as some Hindi and Tamil film productions in the Tamil and Hindi languages.
Nagarjuna’s role in his role in Hindi film Brahmastra which released in the last few days, was his first in more than 20 years. Nagarjuna, who appears predominantly in Telugu film, spoke about the reason he hasn’t done any work in Bollywood. He also explained the reasons he chose to take on Brahmastra after refusing a variety of “incredible” roles in Hindi films in the past.
Shiva the movie, which was released in 1990 Nagarjuna’s first film in Bollywood. Since then, he’s been working on films such as Khuda Gawah, Drohi, and Zakhm as well as others in Hindi. His final Hindi film prior to Brahmastra came out in LOC Kargil (2003), in which He played the role of Major Padmapani Acharya.
He added, “I was getting incredible roles. (But) I’m kind of a bird who is at home. I prefer to reside in Hyderabad. I have always played very unique role in Bollywood. What I’ve done at the start, it has been crucial that I entertain the audience. The roles I played were a search for me, but I have never (went to the roles).”
