Ali Zafar discusses Javed Akhtar’s anti-Pakistani remarks.

Many Pakistanis are dissatisfied and hurt as a result of Bollywood lyricist and screenwriter Javed Akhtar’s disparaging remarks about Pakistan becoming public.

Akhtar was invited to the seventh edition of the famous Faiz Festival, which was held in Lahore. During one of the panel discussions, Akhtar made disparaging remarks about Pakistan, which would later cause a problem. Following the ceremony, none other than Pakistani artist Ali Zafar invited the renowned Indian poet to stay at his home.

Stars from the film industry surrounded Akhtar as Zafar sang karaoke songs in his honour. Zafar also shared a heartfelt video on his Instagram.

Although there appeared to be no conflict between the two countries’ artists, Akhtar’s anti-Pakistani remarks sparked a controversy, prompting the Jhoom singer to invite celebrities to a star-studded celebration of Akhtar.

Under intense public scrutiny, the Channo singer has stepped forward to address the issue, claiming that he was unaware of such sentiments and refusing to accept any disrespect for his people or country.

Zafar used Instagram stories to express himself. The Madhubala singer slammed those who came out in support of the Sajaniya singer for entertaining Akhtar while privately being upset and messaging him after not being invited into his statements.
