Girija Oak Reminisces about Partying at Mannat with Shah Rukh Khan and His Family
“Jawan,” the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer that recently made its debut on Netflix, received tremendous admiration for its portrayal of the superstar’s character, Azad Rathore, and his girls’ squad. Girija Oak, who played one of the squad members in the film directed by Atlee, recently shared her experience of attending a party at King Khan’s abode, Mannat, after the movie’s completion.
During a recent conversation with Lallantop, the “Jawan” actress revealed that she had the opportunity to join a gathering with the rest of the cast and crew at Shah Rukh Khan’s Mumbai residence, Mannat. Girija Oak, who cherished the delightful occasion, disclosed that the superstar’s family is much like any other, characterized by warmth, a homely atmosphere, and close bonds.
Although the actress initially felt surreal about being invited to the “Jawan” wrap party at Mannat, her perception swiftly changed when she arrived at SRK’s home. According to Girija Oak, Shah Rukh Khan’s family exhibited qualities similar to those of any typical family. She recounted how Shah Rukh Khan’s wife, Gauri Khan, along with their children, Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan, danced and requested songs for one another during the party. Girija Oak also fondly remembered meeting Gauri’s parents, who were in attendance and engaged in conversations with the guests.
Girija Oak praised Shah Rukh Khan as a co-star who is not intrusive. According to the “Jawan” actress, Shah Rukh Khan is one of the few actors who pays meticulous attention to action continuity. He possesses an exceptional memory, recalling every detail of his scenes and even the positioning of his neck in the previous shot.
The actress emphasized that this remarkable quality of Shah Rukh Khan greatly facilitated his flawless portrayal of a double role in the film directed by Atlee. Girija Oak further noted that she has never witnessed the superstar falter in any scene, even though he is highly particular about his own aspects during shooting. She also highlighted that while King Khan is exceptionally meticulous about his work, he is a non-interfering co-star.
