Actor R Madhavan has been chosen for another biopic after successfully portraying scientist Nambi Narayan in his last film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect.
The new biopic will feature Madhavan as G D Naidu, another Indian scientist who is known as the ‘Edison of India’ and the wealth creator of Coimbatore. Naidu was the inventor of the first electric motor in India.
Titled Miracle Man G D Naidu, the biopic will be produced under the banner of Mediaone Global Entertainment Limited. The makers have released the first official poster of the film on Twitter. The caption of the post read: “Mediaone Global Entertainment Limited” signed with G D Naidu charities to make a Biopic on life and achievements of Miracle Man #GDNaidu with @ActorMadhavan as lead.”
Naidu’s contributions to the industrial sector were not restricted to one field. He played a vital role in the advancement of mechanical, agricultural, electrical, and automobile engineering. One of his most notable achievements was in 1970 when he collaborated with D. Balasundaram Naidu to manufacture India’s first indigenous motor.
