When Salman Khan explained why he only wears torn jeans and old boots, people were shocked.

Salman Khan is one of the few stars who is rarely seen wearing anything but his own clothing line, Being Human, when he is not hosting Bigg Boss 16 or acting in a movie. In an interview, the actor said that he doesn’t wear expensive clothes so that his fans don’t waste money trying to dress like him. If a person has a good body, they will look good in any clothes.

Salman is getting ready to make Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which is the name of his next movie. He was just in The Godfather with Chiranjeevi, a Telugu movie.

In a long-ago interview, Taran

“I think they see a regular guy in me,” the actor had said. I don’t like to live like a star. Main jeans pahanta hu fati hui, Being Human ki t-shirts pahanta hu, and ek pair of boots sada hua pata nhi kabse (I wear torn jeans, Being Human t-shirts, and old boots since ages). Kyunki, you have enough money to dress well. Dressing up doesn’t mean spending a lot of money on clothes. Salaries are so low, and families are so big. The clothes we wear are what everyone wants. The kids want them, and the fans want them, too. Ab Armani ka suit pahanenge, ya Versace, ya Dolce & Gabbana—it doesn’t make any difference. I’d rather wear clothes that don’t fit well but look good on you because you go to the gym. Aap tight jeans pahne, dheeli jeans pahne, or fati hui jeans pahne, if your body is in good shape under your clothes, anything will look good on you. I do that over and over again. In movies, we have to wear different clothes for scenes.
