The Legend of Maula Jatt earns over Rs 150 crore globally, breaking records.

The Legend of Maula Jatt, which stars Mahira Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, and Fawad Khan, is the priciest film to come out of Pakistan. It is without a doubt Pakistan’s biggest global release to date.

The movie opened to standing-room-only crowds on October 13th and made record-breaking figures on day one, despite not yet playing in every theatre in the country.

On its first day, it earned 4.4 crores in India and 4.9 crores in the rest of the world, for a total of 9.3 crores.

The film grossed more than 50 crores in international revenue over the course of a long weekend.

According to reports, this action fantasy movie broke box office records on its opening weekend. More than $50000 has already been collected for “The Legend of Maula Jatt. The film debuted at number nine on the charts with $355,000 from 79 viewings in the UK. In the US and Canada, the movie brought in $290,000 and $235,00, respectively. On the other hand, Australia saw a $160,000 profit. While the Pakistani movie debuted at No. 1 in the United Arab Emirates after making more than $515,000 there, it is now trending at No. 6 in Canada and Australia.

The Legend of Maula Jatt made its debut in 25 countries throughout the world, including Southeast Asia, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, and Spain. To date, it has generated $2.3 million in worldwide revenue.

In its first week of global release, the film starring Gohar Rasheed and Humaima Malick grossed Rs. 80 crores.

These figures broke records and outperformed the lifetime box office revenue of every Pakistani movie. The Legend of Maula Jatt is prepared to set more records now that the second weekend has begun.

The sector received new hope from its second-weekend sales. The magnum opus crossed the historically high 100 crore mark after its second weekend’s profits. It was the first feature film made in Pakistan to ever achieve this objective.

As the first Pakistani production to surpass the PKR 150 crore milestone globally, TLOMJ keeps winning.

Through the movie’s official social media accounts, the information was made public. “With 150 crore, The Legend of Maula Jatt broke a record for Pakistani cinema and is currently ruling the global box office!”

The official Instagram account of TLOMJ said earlier this month that the Bilal Lashari movie did better at the British box office than the South Indian and Laal Singh Chaddha hit RRR.

Another day, another success! Read the message. The Legend of Maula Jatt outperformed RRR, the highest-grossing Indian movie of 2022, in just 17 days. Recently, it was found that Pakistan’s most expensive movie did better in the UK than Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha in just 13 days.

According to the British cinema magazine Screen Daily, Moviegoers Entertainment’s Maula Jatt earned £44,149 (about Rs11.5 million) in its sixth weekend. The film’s performance has deteriorated significantly in comparison to many of its competitors, as its run continues at 54.6%, bringing the total to around £1.3 million (Rs340 million).That amount, £1.26 million, surpasses the budget for this year’s Tamil epic Ponniyan Selvan.

The Legend of Maula Jatt became the highest-grossing Punjabi film ever after making $7.8 million (roughly Rs1.7 billion) at the international box office in the first four weeks following its release, according to the account’s official Instagram.

The first teaser for the movie came out in 2019, and audiences all over the world gave it a thunderous response because it had a huge cinematic scope, a great cast, and a huge budget.
