Shahid Kapoor Expresses Views on Censorship in OTT Platforms

Shahid Kapoor Shares Views on Censorship versus Certification in OTT Platforms
As Shahid Kapoor gears up for the release of his upcoming OTT project, “Bloody Daddy,” he has expressed his thoughts on the topic of censorship in digital platforms.
In an interview with India Today, Kapoor stated that he personally prefers certification over censorship. He explained, “I don’t like being censored. Joining the conversation, Salman Khan also shared his perspective on the matter, advocating for the need of censorship on OTT platforms. Khan expressed his concerns about explicit content and emphasized the importance of ensuring cleaner content for a wider audience. He highlighted that young viewers, as young as 15 or 16 years old, have access to such platforms and that it’s crucial to consider the impact on them.

Now, Kapoor is eagerly anticipating the release of his next OTT film, “Bloody Daddy,” directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The film is scheduled to stream on the JioCinemas App starting June 9.
