Samantha says it’s harder for filmmakers to get people to their movies.

Yashoda is the latest movie to show how hard Samantha Ruth Prabhu has worked. In the Hari thriller, Samantha plays a strong role. Samantha, Harish’s wife, said, “When I first heard the story, it gave me chills.”
In the trailer, the part is played by Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Sam says this about her journey as a filmmaker: “When I first heard the story, it gave me chills.” And that’s how I knew I wanted to play this part. Once I said yes and we were on set, it was all about taking it one day at a time and making sure that when we were shooting talkies, we were showing emotion, and when we were shooting action, we were showing punches. And it was fun to work with Hari-Harish because they really cared about the story and the message they wanted to send. I can’t tell you what it is; you’ll have to see the movie to find out why these two directors chose to tell this kind of story. I’m glad I was able to be a part of it.
“Between the world, the setting, the visuals, and the thrills, it’s an immersive movie that should be seen on the big screen.”
Samantha doesn’t like commercial thrillers, but she wants to be in movies that everyone can enjoy. “No one can argue that the pandemic and lockdowns haven’t made a huge difference in how people watch TV.” People are getting used to waiting until the movies are on streaming services before going to the theatre. This makes it harder for filmmakers to get people to go to the movies. So, as actors and filmmakers, we have had to rethink and rewrite. So, when I first heard Yashoda and began working on it, and even now that I’ve seen the final cut, I feel like going to the theater.”Whether it’s the world, the setting, the visuals, or the thrills, it’s an immersive watch that needs to be seen on a big screen and with the right kind of sound to get the most out of it,” said the actress from Family Man 2, who said that Yashoda will bring people to theatres.
Tomorrow, November 11, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Unni Mukundan will be the first people to see Yashoda. Yashoda isn’t her first movie in Bollywood, but the film will be shown in Hindi along with other languages, making it her first Hindi movie to be shown in India.
