Sajal Aly is a young actress who has already established herself as one of Pakistan’s top stars. She has a long list of notable accomplishments to her name, both at home and abroad, where she has worked to the benefit of Pakistan. Mom, her debut Bollywood film, starred the legendary Sridevi, and both actors wowed audiences with powerful performances. Sajal and Sridevi became close while filming Mom. Even after Pakistani artists were barred from working there, Sridevi publicly praised Sajal and her talent throughout all promotions.
In an interview with BBC Asia’s Haroon Rashid, Sajal discussed her relationship with Sridevi. She claimed that while they were filming, she was like a mother to her and guided her. She developed a close relationship with both her mother and her daughter, Jhanvi.
