People know Sooraj Barjatya for making movies about families. From Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se to Hum Saath Saath Hain, the production house has made some of the best movies for families. Well, when he directed Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon in 2003, the director tried something new. The main characters in the movie were played by Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Abhishek Bachchan. But not a lot of people liked the three-way love story. The director talked about Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon today when the trailer for Uunchai came out.
Sooraj Barjatya says, “Main Prem Ki Diwani Hun taught me so much.” He said this when he was asked about making family-centered movies and having tried Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon before. I didn’t act like a director when I asked people if they thought it would work or not. I no longer care about numbers or being first. I want to make a good movie that families will enjoy. It’s important to remember that Salman Khan was in Sooraj’s first movie as a director, Maine Pyar Kiya. In 2015, he was the director of the movie Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which also starred Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja.
The movie is set to come out in theatres on November 11, with Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Parineeti Chopra, Neena Gupta, Sarika, and Danny Denzongpa in the cast. The trailer shows the story of two people who are friends for life. In the video, Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Anupam Kher, and Danny Denzongpa talk about climbing Mount Everest, but Danny dies of old age before they can do it. After he dies, they decide to make real plans to climb Everest. It is also thought that Parineeti Chopra is in charge of their trip.
