Humayun Saeed is a famous and successful Pakistani actor who has been in the business for a long time. He got his first chance to act in the popular PTV miniseries Yeh Jahan.
Many actors became well known because of Yeh Jahan. Humayun has made many popular movies and TV shows. He is also one of Pakistan’s most famous producers.
He was talking about how he became successful and how he did it. Humayun Saeed said that he had to go through a lot of trouble to get into business and that it wasn’t easy for him to do so. He said that he, too, had been taken advantage of.
Humayun said, “Once, a man told me he would make me a hero if I was willing to pay 1 lac and 50 thousand rupees for that service.”
Humayun continued, “I borrowed money from another friend, and when the director of the play asked for more money, I gave it to him.”
We made a serial, and when it was being edited, a famous producer named Tasneem Aslam saw it and told me, “The drama was so bad, but you seemed to be acting a little better.”
He said that meeting Tasneem Aslam gave him a chance in Yeh Jahan.
