Shelving rumors surround Katrina Kaif’s superhero film

Director confirms Katrina Kaif’s superhero film is still in the works
In a recent interview, filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar provided an update on the highly anticipated Bollywood superhero film, “Super Soldier,” starring popular actor Katrina Kaif. Despite facing delays, including the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, Zafar confirmed that the film has not been shelved and is still in progress.
Zafar explained that the project was initially scheduled to proceed, but Kaif’s commitments to “Tiger 3” and the subsequent pandemic caused delays. However, he reassured fans that “Super Soldier” is very much happening and that he is waiting for the right time to begin production.
The director also revealed that he is working on not just one, but two women-led action films, both featuring intense action sequences. He expressed his enthusiasm for exploring the action genre with female leads and mentioned that he plans to embark on these projects in the near future.
Kaif and Zafar have previously collaborated on successful films such as “Mere Brother Ki Dulhan,” “Tiger Zinda Hai,” and “Bharat.” Zafar emphasized their strong professional relationship and friendship, stating that they frequently exchange ideas and have always received positive feedback for their collaborations. He expressed his excitement about working with Kaif again and creating something that excites both of them.
